Short Bio

Welcome to my website,

Since November 2023, I have been the Director of the Economics Department of France Stratégie, the think tank and policy planning institution of the French government. I'm also an Associate Professor of Economics at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, where I have been teaching in the Master of Finance (course material available here) since 2015.

I'm currently on leave for public service from the Brussels-based economic think tank Bruegel, which I joined as a Research Fellow in February 2014, before being appointed Senior Fellow in April 2020.

Prior to joining Bruegel, I  conducted research in several capacities, including as a visiting researcher in the Financial Research Department of the Central Bank of Chile in Santiago, as an economist in the Economic Research Department of the French bank Crédit Agricole, and in the Economic Department of the French Embassy in Chicago.

My research interests lie mainly in the fields of macroeconomic policies, central banking and European economic governance / public policies. You can find out more about my research here.

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence), a MSc in Economics from Paris X University and a MSc in Management from HEC (Paris).
